A portrait of the blogger, Tiffany

Welcome everyone to the first and probably most boring post of this blog. (sorry)

We all have to start somewhere though and I’m starting here, with this post.

My name is Tiffany and on socials I typically go by some variation of teafortiffany. The link there will take you to my TikTok profile. It’s got some things there, but I haven’t posted in a while because I moved and life has been quite hectic.

I’m in my 30’s and I live in Maine and this blog is my attempt at trying something new. I love books, video games, and crafts. This blog is primarily going to be centered around books; reviews, hauls, products I use, and maybe some other little tid bits that interest me. I’d love to get to know others in the blog world and learn how to make this better, but in the end, I hope this is something that I enjoy spending time doing. I want to share my love of books with others and maybe become a resource for others who are looking for recommendations and who share the same interests as me.

You probably want to know what genre’s I read huh? No sense in reading about what doesn’t interest you. I get it. Don’t worry.

Genres

  1. Fantasy (this includes many of the sub-genres)
  2. Sci-fi (mostly the silly goofy kind. 42 anyone?)
  3. Historical Romance (feels a bit out of place, just like the wallflower who marries a Duke!)
  4. Thriller (this is a new genre for me so I’m still learning. Scary)
  5. Non-fiction (mostly weird stuff if I’m honest)

You also might like to know how I like to read. Even if you don’t, I’m going to tell you.

Primarily, I’m a physical book reading kind of gal. I do read e-books from time to time and I have a bit of a tumultuous relationship with audio books. That’s not to say I don’t listen to them, but I lose my focus quite often and find that non-fiction is the best genre for audio books for me.

Please forgive me as I put this blog together. I’m learning. I hope to make it easy for people to navigate and for me to maintain, but we will see.

Thank you for making it to the end of this post! I hope you stick around for a little while.
