Hello friends!!
It’s been a busy month for me but I was able to make some pretty solid reading time in despite all that was going on. I had family visiting, a room re-model (just new windows and paint really) and a trip to the annual local convention. And on the last day of the month, I took a PTO day off from work to just sit back and read (blog post on that coming later).
On another note, I’ve decided not to pull from the TBR tin for July. I have a few different books that I’m actually wanting to read, so I’ve decided to focus on those instead of pick a TBR Tin pick. So this will be a bit of a short wrap-up blog post this week and next week I’ll have a slightly longer post!
So lets look at the stats so far
May Stats
| # Books | Pages | Series Started | Series Finished | 5 Stars | eBook | Paper | Unhaul | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | 699 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 6 |
June Stats
| # Books | Pages | Series Started | Series Finished | 5 Stars | eBook | Paper | Unhaul | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | 1211 | 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 4 | 0 | 6 |
Okay, I know last month I said I didn’t need to buy more books, but in my defense, I was left alone for 2 weeks while my other half was in a different state for work. I know that’s not a great defense but it’s too late now. I have the books and you can’t make me give them back!
So here are the four books I read along with their ratings (some of them do not currently have a full review, those are coming I promise).

Finished: 06/13 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finished: 06/30 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finished: 06/29 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Finished: 06/30 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
So those are the four I read! I apparently was in a mood for a more evil, dark, horror and yet sometimes silly type of book. I had wanted to try to get some more read in the month of June but it was quite busier than I expected and I ended up falling into some cozy games again. I like to read and I like to play video games and honestly, it’s hard to decide which to devote my time to on occasion.
As for what I plan on reading in July, currently I have The Graveyard Shift by M.I. Rio on the side. This is a horror novella, so it shouldn’t take me too long to finish relatively quick. The other book I intend to read in July is the first book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series! I have heard so many good things about this series and so I just had to pick up the first book from my local Barnes and Nobel.
Look forward to a blog post about my failed reading marathon next week along with some quick reviews of the books that I was able to finish reading.
Do you have any recommendations on books to read in July? If so, leave them down below!
Goodbye my friends!
